The Anti-Enlightenment International.

N° 3959

I was invited by Télérama and Karine Viguier to create an illustration for a feature written by Olivier Tesquet entitled « The Anti-Enlightenment International » which discusses the rise of anti-democratic ideas and reactionary movements that attack the ideals of the Enlightenment. The subject is quite sensitive and therefore difficult to address subtly.

I therefore decided to create a very conceptual and metaphorical illustration.
